The Vineta Hotel is a landmark Palm Beach boutique hotel originally constructed in 1926 and recently restored as part of the Oetker Hotels collection. Located along Cocoanut Row just blocks from Worth Avenue, the property reflects the Mediterranean Revival architecture that defines much of Palm Beach’s historic island character.

The hotel’s exterior features stucco facades, wrought iron balconies, arched openings, French windows, and lush tropical landscaping arranged around intimate courtyards and pedestrian scale pathways. The architecture maintains its historic proportions while introducing updated hospitality environments that blend European influences with classic Palm Beach design.

Interior spaces were redesigned by Tino Zervudachi and feature layered textures, refined furnishings, curated lighting, and a restrained coastal palette. Public spaces include Coco’s restaurant, lounge areas, poolside environments, and courtyard dining zones that support upscale hospitality, lifestyle, and editorial filming. The property’s smaller scale creates a more intimate visual environment than larger resort hotels, allowing productions to capture luxury settings without overwhelming public space.

The courtyard serves as one of the property’s strongest cinematic assets, combining palms, shaded seating, patterned surfaces, and filtered natural light within a contained setting. Pool areas introduce retro-inspired hospitality visuals with strong geometry and layered landscaping. Surrounding streetscapes include hedges, palms, luxury residences, and walkable access to Worth Avenue, allowing productions to expand coverage into the surrounding Palm Beach environment.

Scout Note

The courtyard provides the property’s strongest visual anchor, especially during morning and late afternoon when filtered light moves across palms, stucco walls, and patterned surfaces. Low angle exterior shots emphasize wrought iron balconies and Mediterranean Revival detailing while minimizing neighboring structures. Interior lounge and dining spaces work well for upscale hospitality scenes with controlled lighting conditions and layered backgrounds. Poolside areas support fashion, editorial, and luxury lifestyle coverage with intimate scale and contained sightlines. The surrounding Cocoanut Row streetscape offers clean Palm Beach residential visuals with hedges, palms, and limited commercial intrusion.
