High School Feature/Short
High School Feature Short Award
Short films are a great opportunity to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling and engage the audience. We call it a feature/short because we want to see a big story in a short amount of time.
Open to Florida High School Students
Film must be 30 minutes (TRT) or less
1st Place - $1,500 Award
2nd Place - $1,000 Award
3rd Place - $750 Award
Funds awarded to the submitting school
Submitted projects will be judged on the following set of criteria:
Plot
Themes/Tone
Acting/Characters
Direction
Score/Sound
Production Design
Cinematography
Lighting
Special Effects
Editing
SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Step 1 - Complete the online application and accept/agree to all terms/conditions including your signature and your student ID.
(Instructors performing multiple submissions may email a list of student names to studentshowcase@pbfilm.com in lieu of student ID's. Please list project titles along with student names.)
