Named in honor of South Florida’s own Vanilla Ice - rapper, actor, and home renovation star, this award celebrates creativity, rhythm, and visual storytelling. Catapulted to fame with the global hit Ice, Ice Baby, Vanilla Ice became one of the most recognizable names in pop culture. From music and film to reality television and home renovation, he’s proven that reinvention, determination, and a strong work ethic never go out of style. A proud Floridian and longtime supporter of The Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films, Vanilla Ice continues to give back to the community that helped shape his success, encouraging the next generation of storytellers to dream big, stay focused, and always bring their best performance.
Open to Florida High School and College Students
Video must be 5 minutes (TRT) or less (excluding credits).
$1,000 Award
Funds are awarded to the submitting school.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:

2. Once on the FilmFreeway platform, click the Green SUBMIT NOW Button select your category and complete the submission process including uploading your video.
