Riviera Beach Municipal Beach Park is a public oceanfront property on Singer Island with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, a wide sandy beach, and a paved area extending throughout the park west of the dune line. The combination of open shoreline, coastal vegetation, and developed park space provides several distinct filming environments within one location.

The beach offers long sightlines along the Atlantic, with an open horizon and changing light throughout the day. The dune line creates a natural transition between the beach and the developed portion of the park, allowing productions to frame the ocean and shoreline independently or incorporate the park infrastructure into wider shots.

West of the dunes, paved areas extend around the park and provide a different visual character from the sand and natural shoreline. These surfaces can accommodate pedestrian activity, bicycles, beach access, wheel chair accessibility, equipment movement, and other scenes requiring a hard-surface waterfront setting. The paved circulation areas also provide useful camera and crew positioning without placing equipment directly on the sand.

Palm trees, coastal vegetation, open sky, and the surrounding beach setting establish a recognizable South Florida beach environment. Depending on framing, the location can represent a neighborhood beach, public recreation area, waterfront gathering place, contemporary Florida coastal setting with a two story coastal vibe Ocean Rescue building onsite.

The park's position along Ocean Drive also provides a recognizable beach-community streetscape and convenient access to restaurants and retail settings at Ocean Mall are within close prximity.

Riviera Beach Municipal Beach Park combines Atlantic beachfront, a defined dune line, paved park areas, and South Florida coastal landscaping, giving productions several visual options within a single public property.

Scout Note

The wide beach and open Atlantic horizon are the primary production assets. Sunrise provides direct light over the ocean and long shadows across the sand, while later afternoon light can be used to work with the shoreline and surrounding structures. Low camera positions can minimize development and create a simple open-ocean backdrop; wider angles can incorporate the public beach and Singer Island setting. The location is particularly useful when a production needs an authentic community beach rather than a resort-controlled shoreline. Nearby waterfront locations also make it possible to combine ocean and Intracoastal scenes within the same production day.
