THE PALM BEACHES TV WINS THREE COMMUNICATOR AWARDS

Awards Recognize Creative Excellence in the Communications Industry

Palm Beach County, FL (May 26, 2020) – The 26 th Annual Communicator Awards recently announced winners and three programs on The Palm Beaches TV, the official tourism television channel of Palm Beach County, FL, were recognized. 

Two programs on the channel, Honda Classic All Access and The Best of SunFest earned top honors, the Award of Excellence in the Branded Entertainment, Live Events and Streaming category.  Honda Classic All Access, produced by K2 Sport Ventures, Thaler Media and in partnership with The Honda Classic, offers viewers a glimpse at all the food, fun, music, and charity events that happen beyond the ropes at the four day PGA TOUR event. A team of hosts took viewers to tournament hotspots and booths and highlighted the extra activities such as the celebrity pro-am with Greg Norman, junior golf events with the one-armed golfer Tommy Morrissey, and the Patriot Outpost that welcomes veterans with some of the best golf watching on the course.

The Best of SunFest, produced by Thaler Media in partnership Paul Jamieson, Executive Director of Sunfest, was a peek at the food, fun and festivities that coincide with Palm Beach County’s largest music festival, SunFest, which annually brings the biggest names in all genres of music to the waterfront festival. Both shows were made possible by The Palm Beach County Film & Television sponsorship program, which highlights Palm Beach County’s diverse tourism assets by creating television content.

Meanwhile, the 2019 Student Showcase of Films (SSOF) Red Carpet Award Show, Florida’s largest student film competition and award show, which is produced by The Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, received a Communicators Award of Distinction.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals. It is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).  More than 6,000 entries were received from companies within the U.S. and abroad.
