Father And Son Launch Virtual Events Streaming Platform
June 16, 2020
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Monday, June 15th, 2020) In the new normal of Covid-19, where it is important that we all adapt to survive, a father and son have launched a successful virtual events streaming platform. Playimage Communications before Covid-19, primarily focused on video production and marketing services that ran the full gamut. Whether it was to grow your brand with marketing or tell your story through an impactful video for a fundraising event, it usually included content creation, video production, and or some type of marketing with an on-location component.

Alex and Bob
Over the past few years Bob Buruchian and his son, Alex Buruchian, have been dabbling with live streaming. Their first event was over a year ago for the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Future Stars event in Mizner Park but after that they were too busy doing their usual services and did not dive back in until Covid-19 hit. They knew they needed to develop a much more comprehensive platform that would include high-end graphics to promote their clients’ brands and handle remote interviews that looked like they were part of a network TV show.
“It’s one thing to have the software and tools, but since I knew my Dad, early in his career, directed a live national newscast on PBS, I felt we could really make this work. Plus, I knew we had the support of an award-winning team of veteran broadcasters which has always been the backbone of Playimage,” said Alex Buruchian, who is an Eagle Scout and went to Lynn University on a full scholarship and graduated with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Advertising.

In just a matter of a few weeks, they produced two very successful virtual fundraisers, one for a local non-profit, called Boca Helping Hands and the other, for a Catholic high school in Southbound Indiana. Both leveraged the platform's remote interview/presentation technology.
“It doesn’t matter where you are, changing times call for creative solutions so the remote technology and the talent this team has, is definitely a game-changer!” said Neil Saffer from Saffer and Company Benefit Auctions , one of their fundraising partners.

Other projects have included; remote interviews with Jarcfl.org and the Humane Society in Freeport Bahamas to raise awareness. And when the Rotary Club of Boca Raton mentioned that they couldn’t in person, hand out awards and gifts to graduating high school students as they do this time every year, the Playimage team stepped up and facilitated 7 remote interviews between the generous Rotarians and the young high school graduates.
“For the last ten years, Playimage has always dedicated over 30% of its resources to helping non-profits, mostly delivering impactful videos to elevate their fundraisers, but now that those fundraisers are canceled, it’s a pleasure to offer a creative solution like our Virtual Event Platform, specifically to create a virtual fundraiser. And, the very best part of this, is working so closely with my son, who is perfect for the job. Alex is a super-smart, even keeled millennial who not only knows the technology inside and out but what’s really important – how to give back. I couldn’t be more proud as a Dad,” said Bob Buruchian.
