• When writing my script are there any locations I should avoid?

It is advisable to consider location options that are available to you before writing a script. While car chases and bank robberies are exciting to construct they are difficult to acheive without a considerable budget for location fees and special equipment.  Locations such as hospitals, post offices, banks, airports, grocery stores, gas stations, mansions and driving shots present extra challenges that are not well suited for student projects. We encourage you to consider personal connections of family and friends before writing a script that may end up presenting a host of issues that are hard to overcome as a student filmmaker.
