SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR THE 29th ANNUAL PALM BEACHES STUDENT SHOWCASE OF FILMS

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (February 6, 2024) – The clock is ticking, but you’ve still got time! 

The submission deadline for the 29th Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films (SSOF) has officially been extended by one week. The new deadline for entries is now set for Monday, February 12, 2024, at noon. Better hurry.

Film Florida's Call To Action

Film Florida is collecting letters that will be hand delivered to Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo asking her to oppose this tax increase. Last Legislative Session, President Passidomo and the Florida Senate were the only thing that stood in the way of the Sales Tax Exemption Program being eliminated. They are, once again, critical in staving off this attack on our industry. 

Levis JCC’s 8th Annual Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival: Kick-Off Events Leave Audiences Ready For More

Boca Raton, Fla., (Feb 5, 2024) – The Adolph & Rose Levis JCC (Levis JCC) was proud to welcome internationally renowned pianist John Bayless and filmmaker Stewart M. Schulman for the Southeast Premiere of their film Left Alone Rhapsody, during its Red Carpet Event on January 10 at Boca West Country Club. The event was the kick off to the Levis JCC’s 8^th annual Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival (JLKBRJFF), Boca Raton’s original Jewish film festival, which is poised to be its most diverse and successful to date. The 3-week festival is expected to be viewed by more than 3,000 film enthusiasts and will return to Cinemark Palace in Boca Raton, Movies of Delray, and the Levis JCC in Boca Raton, from February 10 through March 4.
