PBC LEGEND TELLS THE TRUTH

To Tell the Truth is an iconic TV show that’s been around since 1956. The most recent iteration, on ABC, is hosted by Anthony Anderson, star of the hit sitcom, Black-ish. On To Tell the Truth, celebrity panelists are presented with three contestants and must identify who is telling the truth about their unusual occupation or experience read aloud by the host. On March 24th, in a segment called “My BFF is a Wild Animal,” the truth teller was Palm Beach County’s own shark expert and world-famous photographer, Jim Abernathy.

For nearly four decades, Jim has specialized in large predatory shark diving out of Jim Abernethy’s Scuba Adventures in Lake Park. He has cultivated an endearing relationship with a 15ft Tiger Shark, Emma, in the Bahamas for many years. Two panelists, Sherri Sheppard (Masked Singer, 30 Rock) and Karamo (Queer Eye) correctly pegged Jim as a man with a fishy friendship! To dive deeper visit https://scuba-adventures.com.
