Ice Skate and Hockey at Palm Beach Skate Zone

Palm Beach Skate Zone is the only facility in Palm Beach County with three indoor ice rinks under one roof, offering filmmakers a broad range of visually engaging environments in a single campus scale setting. The large, climate controlled interior provides consistent lighting and clean sightlines across rink decks, spectator zones, and associated social gathering spaces. 

The multiple ice surfaces create a variety of cinematic possibilities, from wide angle shots capturing kinetic athletic motion to close up slow motion takes that emphasize skater movement, body language, and action. Reflective ice surfaces, board edges, protective glass panels, and overhead truss lighting compose strong geometric frames that support dynamic filming angles.

Beyond the ice itself, the facility includes cafes with fresh menu options, carpeted lobby and viewing areas, arcade and social spaces, and party or locker rooms that offer interior backdrops ranging from candid lifestyle interactions to scripted conversational scenes. Skate classes, figure skating training, hockey clinics, birthday parties, and group sessions contribute to natural crowd activity, which gives editors and producers organic energy and human interaction for documentary or commercial shoots. 

Over the years, they’ve partnered with various organizations such as the Palm Beach Hawks Travel Hockey, Lynn University Hockey, Palm Beach Typhoon Junior Hockey, and Loggerhead Curling Club. Their coaching staff includes instructors with national, world, and Olympic experience.
