WORLDWIDE REACH FOR COGNIZANT CLASSIC GOLF BROADCAST IN PALM BEACH COUNTY

The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, one of Palm Beach County’s most revered sporting events, returns Feb. 26-March 2 to PGA National Resort’s The Champion golf course—home of the infamous “Bear Trap.”

As a premier PGA Tour event taking place in Florida’s Golf Capital that draws the world’s best golfers and hundreds of thousands of fans each year, the upcoming tournament field will vie for a $9.2M purse. With televised coverage on CBS, NBC and Golf Channel reaching over 300 million viewers globally, and available to over 25 million subscribers on PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, the tournament remains a fixture in professional golf and a key driver for tourism in The Palm Beaches.

Annually, the event contributes more than $65M to the local economy. Beyond its sporting excellence, the Cognizant Classic greatly supports philanthropy—donating over $46M to charitable causes over the last 17 years.  The event elevates PBC as an international destination for televised sports production and adds to a list of seasonal events such as Major League Baseball spring training, The Golf League presented by SoFi, and the Delray Beach Open tennis tournament.
