WILD & SCENIC ON THE BIG SCREEN
The Town of Jupiter presents the 7th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Thursday, April 10 at 7pm. The festival is one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film events. This year’s theme is “Resilient by Nature” and serves as a reminder that humans make the world better by their inherent resiliency. Among the 11 short films to be screened include: Disappearing Penguins, about how the penguin population is faring on a remote island off the Antarctic peninsula, and Resilience Is In Our Nature, a snapshot of the Portland, OR community during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter uprising. Door prizes, food options, special guests and kids’ activities are available, along with a pre-film chat. There is also an option for virtual participation.
