THE PALM BEACHES TV CELEBRATES BANNER YEAR AT 46TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

Palm Beach County’s official tourism TV channel is celebrating a banner year with 11 wins at the 46th Annual Telly Awards, recognizing excellence in video and television across all screens. Eight tourism-branded series featured on The Palm Beaches TV as well as the 2024 special on the Student Showcase of Films (SSOF), produced by PBC’s Channel 20, were honored among 13,000 global entries.

Pop Star Productions' What’s Poppin’ PBC?, hosted and executive produced by Kitty Lundan and directed by Ron Mentor, earned Gold in the General Travel & Tourism category for its “Tasting and Touring in The Palm Beaches” episode. The show also secured Bronze for its “Access for All” episode. Reflecting on the wins Lundan said, “Started with a camera and a dream, now we’re Telly Award-winning GOLD and Bronze.”  

AA Video, based out of West Palm Beach, also racked up three awards for its eco-adventure shows with Silver wins for Parks in The Palm Beaches and Wild Palm Beaches, and Bronze for Equestrian Life in The Palm Beaches. Jetsetter Films secured three more trophies with Fest Quest of The Palm Beaches and Day Tripping in The Palm Beaches, for its showcase of vibrant events and day-trip gems. Meanwhile, the AI-themed 2024 SSOF, hosted by three-time Emmy-winner Frank Licari, earned Bronze in Live Events & Experiences thanks to PBC’s Channel 20 production.

Apex Video’s series also won this year, with Pets in Paradise securing Silver, and Travels and Traditions with Burt Wolf capturing Bronze in the Museums & Galleries category.
