The Palm Beaches Theatre, the new permanent home of the Palm Beach International Film Festival, is showing its diversity of offerings in the gorgeously renovated Plaza del Mar space with the upcoming performance by multi-award winning comedy troupe, The Jove, on July 17, 2015. The dynamic trio of Jesse Furman, Frank Licari and Travis Thomas bring an evening of sketch comedy, music and improv described as “a cross between Saturday Night Live meets Who’s Line is it Anyway?” starting at 7 pm. The Jove Comedy Experience is the longest running improv and sketch comedy troupe in Palm Beach County and has been awarded Best in Show and a Gold award at the 2009 ADDY Awards. In 2006, the troupe also received an IMPY Award for best sketch troupe in South Florida. Considered the most unique comedy experience in South Florida, The Jove’s trio of professional actors and comedians have performed sold out shows across South Florida and throughout the nation in major comedy tours. The Jove appears monthly at The Palm Beaches Theatre located at 262 South Ocean Boulevard in Manalapan. The upcoming performance takes place on July 17 beginning at 7 pm.
