The City Of Boynton Beach Hosting Photo Contest "Focusing On The City’s Rich Past"

The City of Boynton Beach is looking for historic photos! The city is hosting a digital photo contest to honor the city’s vibrant past, but we need your help. We are asking residents to electronically submit a copy of their old photographs anywhere within the city’s limits, including the beach, marina, parks, churches, schools and private homes.

The pictures must be original photographs with minimal digital alterations, the picture must not be pulled off of the Internet, must not contain any inappropriate content, including harassment and damage to wildlife, and must be submitted online in a .jpeg, .jpg, or .gif file. Previously published photographs are allowed.  All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and will be judged by a panel of city employees and guest judges.

Winners will have their photographs published in the city’s 2016 annual report and 2017 calendar and receive $75. The deadline to submit is Oct. 10.
