SWEDE FEST 9 IS OPEN FOR ENTRIES

If you’re into hysterically bad movies, then we have the film festival for you! Entries are now being accepted to this year’s Swede Fest Palm Beach - the showcase of hilarious short films spoofing Hollywood hits. Presented by the Palm Beach Film Society and kicking off the L-Dub film festival in Lake Worth Beach on September 22, 2023, this will be the nineth year of showcasing bad movies by good people. Swede Fest Palm Beach carries on the tradition of the 2008 comedy “Be Kind Rewind,” which started the underground swede craze.

To enter the festival – all remakes of films must be submitted to [email protected] by September 1 and all swedes must be submitted by October 1. Films must be under three minutes and rated PG-13 to be eligible for entry.
