STORIES THAT CONNECT: POPULAR SUMMER SERIES RETURNS

The Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival is one of Palm Beach County’s premier film festivals, known for bringing thought-provoking and culturally rich stories to the big screen. This summer, film lovers can enjoy its popular Summer Film Series, running June 4-August 27. Screenings take place at 1 p.m. every Wednesday at the Levis JCC Sandler Center in Boca Raton.

This year’s lineup includes compelling films such as 93Queen, which follows a Hasidic lawyer and mother who breaks barriers by creating the first all-female ambulance corps in her Brooklyn neighborhood. Also featured is Menashe, a 2017 drama about a widowed father’s struggle to keep custody of his son within an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
