SOUTH FLORIDA FILM FORUM EVENT FEATURING FAST FRANCHISE STAR FUELS CONNECTIONS

The South Florida Film Forum returned for its second consecutive year, welcoming filmmakers, industry professionals, and emerging creatives for a weekend of networking, education, and collaboration at the Mad Arts Center in Broward County.

The event featured panels and presentations led by experienced industry voices, including Marlis Pujol (The Wire, The Sopranos), who shared insights on current trends shaping film and television production. 

Attendees also experienced a live special effects makeup demonstration by Eric Corbin, offering a hands-on look at the artistry behind on-screen storytelling.

Participants were treated to an exclusive preview of the trailer for Drifter, the upcoming film from Sung Kang (Fast & Furious) and Brian Yang, the creative team behind Snakehead, which filmed in Palm Beach County in 2017.

The forum serves as a valuable platform for connection, knowledge-sharing, and fostering future collaborations across South Florida’s growing production community.
