Producers announce THE GREEN PEAS is in development.

Veteran producer Dick Arlett has teamed with cinematographer Jose Serrano and writer/director C. Todd Vittum to produce "THE GREEN PEAS" a character-driven situation comedy, described as "Cheers meets Scrubs and Glen Garry Glen Ross at the used car lot."  Production offices have been established at G-Star Studios in West Palm Beach, with vital exterior footage filmed on-location, courtesy of Earl Stewart Toyota in Lake Park, where the primarily Palm Beach County-based cast and crew drew attention and laughs recently with their lights, cameras, and episodic scenes, including a mechanic sleeping under a car while unique sales characters were filmed using hilarious, unconventional sales tactics. 

Guest stars who will "just not work out" in the tradition of Murphy Brown and other classic one-off special appearances will be featured in each episode, along with a wide array of musicians in a variety of genres singing a theme song each week based on their hits with rewritten "Green Peas" lyrics.

Utilizing the best elements of unscripted shows as well as traditional narrative scripted pieces, THE GREEN PEAS is forging a new genre: “semi-scripted." A talented improvisational cast playing the rookie sales force known in the auto industry as those "green peas."

Each episode of “THE GREEN PEAS” follows the employees and customers of "HONES$T EARL'S UZED CARS" -conflicts and comedy ensue as the characters each try to make the best deal possible to suit their own self-interest, be it buying or selling -one of the greatest pieces of Americana: the automobile.
