PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL – Filming for a New York University student production will take place on the East Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana on Thursday, November 12, 2015 between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., according to the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission.
Use of the bridge will be accessible to all emergency vehicles, non-emergency vehicles and marine traffic during the hours of filming. Deputies from the Lantana Police Department will be on site to facilitate intermittent traffic control for all vehicles and ensure a safe environment for filmmakers and travelers in the area.
The bridge will follow its regularly scheduled openings and closings on every hour and half-hour if a boater is requesting an opening to the bridgetender. The bridge will be opened and/or closed for any approaching non-emergency vehicles or marine traffic upon their arrival at the bridge.
The bridgetender will be notified of any emergency vehicles and commercial marine traffic before the arrival to the bridge. The bridgetender will notify the students to wrap their equipment in advance of the traffic. The students will be required to wrap filming within 5 minutes to allow safe passage.
This production has been permitted under the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission’s Student One-Stop Permitting Process in cooperation with Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach County Road and Bridge Division and the Town of Lantana and will comply with all regulations set forth.
