Pamplin Film Company Launches New Feature Film in Palm Beach County

(N. Palm Beach, FL) . . . The Palm Beach-based award-winning Pamplin Film Company (PFC) has secured financing for a third consecutive feature film to be produced in Palm Beach County. Following successful shoots for Movie Money CONFIDENTIAL (2022) and BURT REYNOLDS: The Last Interview (2024), both critically acclaimed and distributed worldwide, The Jesus Project (working title) begins a three week-shoot in late March.

The film was created by and based on an original screenplay by Rick Pamplin, who is also directing. Producers are Maggie Pamplin and former Jupiter Island resident Scott duPont, now a Hollywood-based award-winning producer. Several prominent Palm Beach industry leaders have signed onto the project including casting director Ellen Jacoby (True Lies) and financial consultant and author Louise Levison (The Blair Witch Project).

Palm Beach actors and crew members have also been hired including location manager Alastair Hunt (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). The project is a Nemours Marketing, Inc. presentation in association with the Pamplin Film Company and Think Visual Group. Co-Producers are Jon Zietz and Howard Farling.

“After extensive location scouts and shooting elsewhere for years, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Orlando and Universal Studios Florida, we’ve found Palm Beach County to be the most photogenic, enthusiastic and welcoming film location we’ve experienced,” says award-winning producer Maggie Pamplin. “In fact, we have two more feature films in development slated to be shot in Palm Beach.”

PFC’s BURT REYNOLDS: The Last Interview featuring Quentin Tarantino received both a 100% rating from certified critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, referring to the film as “undeniably a cinematic gem.” The official trailer and streaming links are at MovieMoney.com.
