Palm Beach Photographic Centre Seeks Volunteers For FOTOcamp & More

(West Palm Beach, FL – June 6, 2016)  Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world-renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced that the nonprofit organization is seeking a variety of volunteers for this summer and fall.

FOTOcamp Volunteers Needed

The Palm Beach Photographic Center’s annual FOTOcamp for Kids (ages 10-17) returns for three two-week sessions June 13-14, July 11-22 and July 25-August 5, from 9 am to 3 pm. Volunteer teaching assistants will help keep students on track, assist with computer tasks and support the instructor. Knowledge of photography and Adobe is a plus. FOTOcamp volunteers are required to complete and submit an affidavit of Good Moral Character and pass a level 2 background screening.

Volunteer Receptionists Needed

The Palm Beach Photographic Center is seeking volunteer receptionists to answer phones, provide information to caller and visitors, greet guests, provide clerical support, encourage visitors to complete Cultural Surveys and other customer service responsibilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with good verbal and written communication skills.

General Volunteers Needed

The Palm Beach Photographic Center is seeking volunteers to assist in a variety of functions, including general support and customer service. Volunteers can schedule their own hours for maximum convenience.

The Palm Beach Photographic Centre is currently presenting Pulitzer Back Stories: In Honor of the Pulitzer Centennial, featuring more than a hundred different eye-catching, thought-provoking images by Pulitzer Prize-winning photo journalists over the last half-century.
