In March, National Geographic filmed an exciting update for their show, Cannibal Sharks, at the Riviera Beach City Marina. The show's goal is to bring in shark experts to analyze evidence of shark-on-shark attacks in the wild and show that these types of attacks occur more often than expected. With cutting-edge equipment, the crew captured footage showcasing scientists loading gear, launching charter boats, examining data, and reviewing camera tag footage.

From heart-pounding underwater scenes to breathtaking aerial shots, viewers will be captivated by the drama and intensity of these encounters. The marina provided an excellent backdrop for this exploration as National Geographic's team of experts shed light on feeding habits, hunting strategies, and the impact of environmental factors on shark populations in the name of science and education. Cannibal Sharks will be airing during National Geographic’s 4-week long coverage of Shark Fest starting July 2.
