Built in 1961 as a Cold War fallout shelter, the bunker is now undergoing a restoration project to preserve this rare piece of American history for future generations.

With more than 100 million YouTube views and counting worldwide, the feature spotlighted the landmark while introducing global audiences to Palm Beach County’s unique heritage.

Behind the scenes, the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission partnered with the County’s Parks & Recreation Department and local vendors to coordinate permits, basecamp logistics, and transportation. This seamless collaboration ensured a smooth shoot and reinforced the region’s reputation as a versatile, film-friendly destination.
