MANATEEFEST 2026: A CELEBRATION OF MANATEES, CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY

Celebrate community and conservation at ManateeFest on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center. Marking its 10th anniversary, the free festival honors Florida’s manatees and the ecosystems that make The Palm Beaches a leading eco-tourism destination.

“ManateeFest exceeded all expectations, bringing together thousands of families while showcasing the power of environmental education,” said Meredith Rollo, Manager of Manatee Lagoon, as the team prepares for another unforgettable celebration in 2026. 

Manatee Lagoon has also captured national television attention including on Wild Palm Beaches, hosted by James Currie, with the Gentle Giants episode reaching more than 24 million viewers on Destination America, and more recently on Amazing Itineraries with host Hunter Hulbert, airing across Sinclair Broadcast Group affiliates nationwide. Manatee season typically runs from mid-November through March 31, when hundreds of manatees migrate into Lake Worth Lagoon in search of warm water.
