LOCATION SPOTLIGHT: BRIDGES AND BEACHES

Since most bridges go over water, were heading east to explore what brings people to The Palm Beaches.

The southernmost bridge is on A1A and goes over the Boca Raton Inlet with beach access  at South Beach to the north South Inlet Park and Jetty to the south.

Further north, the Lantana Bridge spans the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) with fishing platforms underneath on the west side of the structure. Just east over the bridge you’ll find Lantana Beach Park and Municipal Beach.

Lake Avenue in Lake Worth Beach (LWB) will take you directly to LWB Park and Old Bridge Park that offers an interesting industrial angle and ample parking for larger productions, plus the LWB Historic Casino and the William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier is nearby.  

The 65 foot tall Blue Heron Bridge is a direct route to the Municipal Beach in Riviera Beach with a cluster of palm trees that makes for an ideal setting for productions.

The County maintains eight Bascule Bridges over the ICW and one manually operated Swing Bridge in Belle Glade. All are fantastic structures and with planning can be considered film friendly. Explore more film friendly options in the FTC’s online searchable locations database.
