LOCAL FAMILY SNAGS SHARK TANK WIN

Viewers of the hit ABC series Shark Tank know that getting a shark (celebrity investor) to “bite” is not so easy. But one local family knows the sweet taste of Shark Tank success! West Palm Beach-based brother and sister duo, Michael and Shirah Benarde presented their product, NightCap and secured a sweet deal with Lori Greiner. NightCap is a drink-spiking defense device created by (then-high school student) Shirah Benarde upon learning how prevalent drink spiking is in bars and on college campuses nationwide. Her brother Michael helped bring his sister’s prototype from concept to reality.
