Successful Afflux Studios Founder is G-Star High School Graduate

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (May 14, 2020) – Afflux Studios, a major film, commercial, and music video production company with international clients including Atlantic Records, Barrett Jackson, British Airways, ESPN, FPL, Flo Rida, Hermes, Miami Dolphins, NASCAR, Red Bull, and Sony Records EU, is the latest addition to the G-Star Studios' Film Complex.  G-Star Studios is one of the largest motion picture studios in South Florida and its Sound Stage One was named one of “The Top Seven Sound Stages in the World” by Studios Systems News. G-Star Studios is owned by G-Star High School of the Arts, the only high school on the back lot of a major movie studio.  G-Star Studios is also home to the College of Cinematic Arts Keiser University. Bobby Keegan, a Founder of Afflux Studios which he started 12 years ago, is a G-Star graduate. Kegan said, “My partner, Joey Ambrose, and I always wanted to be associated with G-Star and now we are here!  To have an entire commercial motion picture studio and a world-class Sound Stage to work with will add tremendously to what we can now offer our clients on a regular basis. We’re ready to rock  with the students from both the high school and Keiser University as interns on our productions.”

G-Star Founder Greg Hauptner negotiated the arrangement and said, “We are very proud to have a top quality company permanently on our back lot. Every time our students work on professional productions we all benefit and that’s what makes G-Star the most unique High School in the nation. Bobby is yet another success story who started his work here at the school and that will be an inspiration to our students who are building their futures here as well.”

Afflux Studios joins The Celine Talent Agency-Paris and StarLabs MakerSpace operated by internationally famous robotics/high tech/fashion designer Anouk Wipprecht, on the G-Star Studios' back lot; and an educational association with Falcon's Creative Group, Orlando, one of the world's largest makers of theme parks including Disney's Star Wars and the Kennedy Space Center.

G-Star High School of the Arts offers film, digital media, animation and music companies incredible facilities located on our campus (which includes a 5 million dollar sound stage listed as one of the top in the world & one of the largest in Florida). To use our facilities they agree to include our students in their productions providing real- world, hands-on experiences with industry professionals. Academically, 99% of our students graduate and 97% are admitted to college.

The Washington Post ranks G-Star in the top 1.2 % of all high schools in the nation and US News & World Report named us one of the “Best High Schools in America”. G-Star is part of the Charter Schools USA educational family and is a FREE PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL OF THE ARTS.
