FILM COMMISSIONER MICHELLE HILLERY WINS EXCELLENCE AWARD AT SUN & STARS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Donald M. Ephraim Sun & Stars International Film Festival honored Michelle Hillery, Film Commissioner of the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission, with the inaugural Donald M. Ephraim & Terri Sriberg “SASSY” Award for Cinematic Excellence during opening night of the festival.

Presented by MorseLife, the festival features an expansive lineup of award-winning documentaries, historical dramas, Jewish and Israeli cinema, LGBTQIA+ stories, women-directed films, comedies, thrillers, and coming-of-age favorites. 

Screenings are taking place at the Kravis Center, Hooky Entertainment, and Glazer Hall. Festival co-founder Donald M. Ephraim highlighted the Commission’s decades of support for productions in The Palm Beaches, while Hillery expressed gratitude, noting the honor reflects the collective efforts of the Film Commission’s team in servicing the industry and elevating Palm Beach County’s film friendly profile.
