FC BAYERN MUNICH, JOZY ALTIDORE MEET BOCA RATON

When FC Bayern Munich, Paulaner USA and former U.S. Men's National Team star Jozy Altidore teamed up for The Match of Your Life, they brought the international campaign back to where Altidore's soccer journey began.

Raised in Boca Raton, Altidore returned to his hometown this May for filming at Patch Reef Park and Sand Pine Park. The nationwide search gives amateur soccer players across the country the opportunity of a lifetime, with six winners earning a trip to Munich for a tryout and the chance to take the field against FC Bayern.

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission helped bring the shoot together locally by coordinating with its Boca Raton contacts and expediting permits. The production brought an international sports brand to The Palm Beaches while creating a fitting homecoming for one of Boca Raton's own soccer stars.
