DISHIN’ IT OUT WITH ESPN’S CHRIS FOWLER AND PBC'S JEVON WHITE

Riviera Beach native Jevon White appears in a new national Dish Network commercial alongside ESPN’s Chris Fowler. In the comedic spot, White plays a football fan overwhelmed by remotes until Fowler arrives with a vacuum strapped to his back, sucking up the clutter and handing him a single Dish remote that simplifies watching ESPN. The bit ends with the vacuum swallowing White’s phone, a lighthearted moment that’s been seen by millions.

While his national profile grows, White continues to give back locally. In 2024, he returned to present the College Feature Short Award at The Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films, inspiring young filmmakers. He also appeared on The Palm Beaches TV series What’s Poppin’ PBC?, in the episode “Building Up the Black Community” hosted by Kitty Lundan and held a supporting role in the independent film, Child Support 2, shot entirely in Palm Beach County.
