CANNES AND TRIBECA: FILM COMMISSION PITCHES PARADISE AT RENOWNED FILM FESTIVALS

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission continued its global outreach efforts this spring with industry engagements in Cannes and New York City, promoting Palm Beach County, Florida, as a premier production destination and cultivating relationships that can lead to future production opportunities.

In May, Film Commissioner Michelle Hillery joined Film USA and Florida partners at the Cannes Film Festival, highlighting the County's locations, resources and film-friendly services during Florida Day programming.

In June, Director of Operations Alberto Jordat attended the Tribeca Festival and Film Florida's annual Apples & Oranges networking event, where local Liz Sargent and her feature Take Me Home, which was shot in Florida, were recognized. 

Jordat also participated in Tribeca X, connecting with agencies, brands and creators focused on commercial and destination-driven storytelling. These efforts help position the County for domestic and international productions.
