BOCA STARTUP PELAGION MAKES SHARK TANK SPLASH

ABC’s Shark Tank brought a splash of Palm Beach County to the national stage with the premiere of its 17th season, spotlighting the charm of our South Florida coastline and the innovation coming out of our local business community. Local entrepreneurs Mike Terry and CEO Jamie Schlinkmann took their shot in the tank, pitching Pelagion, a Boca Raton-based company behind the high-tech electric HydroBlade.

Designed as a cutting-edge personal watercraft, the HydroBlade combines speed, near-silent operation, and zero emissions, offering a more sustainable way to experience time on the water. While they didn’t secure a deal, their appearance highlights the forward-thinking ideas emerging from The Palm Beaches and the region’s connection to marine innovation and coastal lifestyle.
