AMERICA’S AWESOME KID: 9-YEAR-OLD EMILIANA FROM WELLINGTON
Palm Beach County recently served as the backdrop for filming tied to the national PBS Kids short-form series America’s Awesome Kids, with production taking place at Juno Beach Pier and Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Created in celebration of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, the national series highlighted inspiring children from across the country making a difference in their communities. The Florida-based episode featured Emiliana (age 9) of Wellington as she shared her passion for sea turtle conservation, explored the beach, and encouraged other children to help protect marine life.

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission assisted our local South Florida PBS WLRN with permitting support for filming at Juno Beach Pier. The educational segment premiered on the PBS Kids website and YouTube, further showcasing Palm Beach County’s coastal beauty and commitment to environmental stewardship through family-friendly storytelling.
