ABC DRAMA “RJ DECKER” FILMS IN WEST PALM BEACH, SET TO PREMIERE MARCH 3

Filming for ABC’s new drama RJ Decker recently brought cameras to West Palm Beach, highlighting Palm Beach County as a production-friendly destination. Permitted by the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission, with support from County and local officials, scenes were filmed at the Palm Beach County Courthouse, the 1916 Historic Courthouse, and a private residence in the City of West Palm Beach.

The series, starring the title character Scott Speedman (Grey's Anatomy) and Jaina Lee Ortiz (Station 19), premieres on Tuesday, March 3 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. 

The Palm Beaches welcomed the production, highlighting its economic impact and celebrating its support of local vendors, cast and crew. In 2024, film and television production generated $253 million in local expenditures countywide. 

“Film and television create meaningful economic impact for our community, from jobs to hotel stays,” said Michelle Hillery, Commissioner of the Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission. Starring Scott Speedman, RJ Decker premieres March 3 at 10 p.m. on ABC and WPBF, inspired by Carl Hiaasen’s novel Double Whammy.
