A report by VISIT FLORIDA found that 22% of people cited seeing a movie helped them plan their next vacation. This is known as film-induced tourism, and its one of reasons The Palm Beaches TV was launched in 2017. The all-original programming shares unique stories of the area and features high quality family-friendly content. The newest addition to the channel lineup is Hidden Wild. The 30-minute film, created in partnership with PBC Environmental Resources Management and Discover The Palm Beaches, showcases the 32,000 acres of natural areas as well as 160,000 acres of connected wilderness within the County. Viewers will enjoy an eco-expedition undertaken by local teens and led by conservation photographer, educator, and science communicator Alex Freeze as they journey through PBC’s diverse mosaic of native habitats that offer unique wildlife encounters.
