The G-Star School of the Arts for Motion Pictures and Broadcasting, a Florida non-profit corporation educating students through motion picture and television production, offers an extraordinary incentive package at no charge to filmmakers. This package includes the use of the 84,000 square foot facility, featuring the 25,500 square foot G-Star Motion Picture Studios facility, set on three-acres of security fenced property. The 25,500 square foot space includes a 17,000 square foot warehouse, built in 1941 and one of the unique last buildings of its kind in Florida, for shooting and set construction. An additional 8,500 square feet of space make up the 25,500 square foot facility, offering 12 furnished offices and a conference room. The offices are complete with a phone system, wireless internet and computers, all serviced by a single T-1 line. There are nine individual workshops that can be used for production services such as an art department, set construction area with equipment, prop, wardrobe, grip and lighting storage, etc., with roll-up bay doors for easy truck access including an equipped picture car and prop paint shop and a two-ton crane picture car assembly and repair shop. The three-acre asphalt parking and turning area accommodates trucks as large as 18-wheelers enclosed completely with security fencing. The school is conveniently located in West Palm Beach, five miles from the Palm Beach International Airport, under two miles from Interstate 95 and seven miles from the Florida Turnpike.
