W. Panther Productions, Inc. is scheduled to begin
preproduction with their feature film, All for Nothin’
this month and will move into production in Palm Beach
and Broward Counties in November. The film will be directed
by Peter Bogdanovich (Oscar nominated for Best
Director of The Last Picture Show, 1972), director of such
legendary films as Mask, Paper Moon, The Last Picture
Show. Walter T. Shaw, Producer of All for
Nothin’, chose to shoot his film in South Florida
because it is where his father made a living. Shaw has spent
over a decade developing the financing necessary to make his
dream a reality. "I feel it is best to hold onto your dream
and eventually it will happen. It has been in the works for
14 years and now I will finally be able to tell my father’s
story," says Shaw. His film is based on a true story about
his father Walter L. Shaw, a genius inventor whose
credits include 39 patents for the world’s most regularly
used
communications devices and himself, a former jewel
thief that spent 12 years in prison for his crimes. To learn
more about the film or to join the crew, please contact
Walter Shaw at 954.778.4999 or visit www.allfornothin.com. |
