HOLLYWOOD COMES TO DELRAY.

Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Director Michael Bay are gracing the beaches of Delray to shoot their latest thriller, Bad Boys 2!!  The film is being produced by Simpson/Bruckheimer Productions and Michael Bay Films. The majority of the film was shot in Miami, but thanks to Locations Extrordinaire Verna Shore, who brought the Bird’s mansion to the attention of Columbia Pictures, the scenes were later added into the film. The mansion is the primary location for filming during the month of September.  Bad Boys 2 will bring huge economic benefits to the city and more than 100 crew members will be working and living in Delray Beach for almost two months. The crews will be spending money at local restaurants, shops and hotels during a time when tourism is low.  Not only will Delray Beach be featured in Bad Boys 2 but it will also receive a credit in the movie.  Bad Boys 2 is providing a unique opportunity to spotlight an All American City on the big screen.                           "Bad Boys 2 will be released in 2003!"
