The Rose Lee Show onset and with students operating control room
Rose Lee, Executive Producer of The Rose Lee Show, has been leading the disability mentoring at Archer Disability Foundation since 1999. The foundation works to present mentoring events that benefit students with disabilities and job seekers by introducing the skill sets needed for a variety of employment opportunities. “Caregivers of persons with disabilities know how difficult it will be for their child to enter the workplace with only 17% employment rate for persons with disabilities. Parents like myself struggle to meet their personal employment and career goals, while addressing their parental responsibilities,” said Rose Lee. Recently the foundation took a group of students to Palm Beach County’s Channel 20 station to experience a day in the life of working in a TV environment. Students acted as on-camera hosts, worked in the control room and had real hands on experiences to explore production as future career option.
