Two Shows – Two Nights – Two Reasons to Laugh
Jupiter, Florida: For two weekends in April, Master Actor Todd Vittum brings his BRIFT Improv
Players to the center stage at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre. Both shows come with
a warning to those attending: “Laughing is mandatory!”
On Saturday evening, April 14th, at 8:00 pm, “Improv Plus,” a live comedy show loaded with
audience participation, brings its special blend of humor to the Institute for the second time. In March,
this newly formed group performed together for the first time before a sold out crowd. Under Vittum’s
excellent tutelage, the troupe’s “no scripts – no rules” approach was a big winner with the audience.
The following Saturday, April 21st, at 7:00 pm Vittums’ young actors troupe will have an opportunity
to prove they are just as clever as their adult counterparts and that kids really do “say the darndest things.”

Vittum has taken this concept a step further, designing innovative classes for students 12 to 17 years of
age that make their imaginations come alive in humorous -- and sometimes -- unexpected ways.
Vittum uses the same training technique with all his performers. His students learn to create characters
and scenes that provoke an immediate response. His philosophy is to always strive for honesty and
integrity in action and words. When asked what reaction he expected from the audience, Vittum said
“Most people think improv is only about being funny. It isn’t. However with my troupes, funny just
