c VideoStudent Showcase of Films Music Video Submissions Requirements

This category was renamed to honor music,  film and TV star, Vanilla Ice,
who has so graciously volunteered his time to the SSOF for the past six years,
presenting this award to, as well as mentoring, Florida film students.

Making a music video is a good way of getting exposure and experience and bands
are often happy to give you creative free reign.  A video doesn't need to cost a
fortune but a good video can turn a song into a smash hit.

The Vanilla Ice Music Video Award

Open to Florida High School and College Students.
Video must be 5 minutes (TRT) or less.
$1,000 Award -
INCREASED for 2020!
Funds will be awarded to the submitting school.
The entire video must be completed upon submission.

Submitted projects will be judged on the following set of criteria:

Originality/Creativity
Direction
Sound/Music
Writing
Cinematography
Performances
Production Value
Pacing
Structure
