Allegro Accumulates 5 decades of success

Allegro Productions, helmed by Scott and Jerome Forman, has produced top of the line multi-media products for an impressive list of clientele. One of their most popular and most honored shows is Science Screen Report (SSR) and SSR for Kids. This multi-media educational project is currently in its 32nd year of production. SSR started in 1970 and has developed into a series of videotapes and cd-roms provided to schools free of charge. This is possible due to the sponsorship of over 600 companies, including Fortune 500 listings. Additionally, Allegro is in production on a companion piece, a recycling series for nationwide schools.

SSR is used in the Smithsonian Teacher Resource Center, is listed with the Department of Education and the Department of Energy Resource Guides and is promoted by the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse.

The Old Key Lime House
Lantana, FL

Florida's oldest waterfront restaurant is also one of our best locations. The Old Key Lime House Waterfront Bar & Grill is housed in the second oldest home in Lantana. Located on Ocean Avenue and situated right on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway, the island style décor of this historic location beckons diners and on location productions alike. The food is mouthwatering, and the environment is positively delectable.

Known for its casual and accommodating atmosphere, the Old Key Lime House has extended its hospitality to film and television production. Last year, the international production company Hewland International captured the one of a kind spot for the BBC episodic Daylight Robbery 2.

Just this month, the Old Key Lime House threw open its vibrant doors for the Spirit of Production Fam Tour. For more information on this film friendly location, call 561-582-1889.

News from Capital Hill...House Bill 3131 was introduced this month. It is the companion bill to Senate Bill 1278. This legislation supports the entertainment industry. Contact your representatives and profess your support.

Correction: In the Sept. edition of Focus on Film, the caption incorrectly identified the location as Sailfish Marina. In fact, Palm Beach Shores Mayor Thomas Mills and Representative Jeff Atwater filmed CBS's Early Show promo at Cannonsport Marina.
