Orchid Center is a breathtaking combination of

is a part of the American Orchid Society and not

American Girl Features Jupiter in Upcoming
Catalogue

The
American Girl Catalogue journeyed to Jupiter Beach
Park and Dubois Park for its new catalogue. The
2-day shoot featured talent modeling the various
products and enjoying the exotic north county
locations. The division of Pleasant Company,
Middleton, WI has a self proclaimed mission to
educate and entertain girls with high-quality
products and experiences that build self-esteem
and reinforce positive social and moral values.

Café
Cinematheque Opens at Mizner Park
The Children of the
French Cinema (COFC) in partnership with the Mizner
Park Cinema have announced the creation of Café
Cinematheque, a new way of enjoying film. One
Sunday morning each month, beginning December 9,
moviegoers are invited to participate in lectures,
movies and breakfasts. This is an opportunity to
listen to expert lectures, network with fellow
film buffs and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Experts will lecture on everything from the
moviemaking process to critiques of finished
projects to the joy of film loving.
The inaugural speaker will be noted film critic
for the Boca Raton News, Skip Sheffield. COFC
President Francois Ravidat is certain that
this forum will help advance the mission of the
organization: to bring together all those who are
passionately fond of French Cinema. |

PGA
National Resort & Spa hosted Redbook Magazine
for a Serena and Venus Williams photo
shoot. The remarkable location provided the
background for the pictorial featuring the two local
tennis pros. The article will appear in an upcoming
issue sometime next year.
New radio show On
the Couch will
premiere on WXEL 90.7FM on Sunday, January 6.
The weekly program will feature in-depth
interviews with today’s leading authors, artists,
musicians and other individuals involved in the
creative process. The nationally syndicated show
will be co-produced and broadcast by WXEL and
will be recorded in front of a live audience at Reading
Etc. in CityPlace.

Scary Tales,
a feature length horror/comedy anthology
shot primarily in Palm Beach County, Jupiter,
Stuart and Port St. Lucie was recently picked
up for distribution by Salt City Video.
The deal making continues that will put the
movie in Hollywood Video outlets. Scary
Tales is scheduled for January 2002
release. The film was directed by Michael
Hoffman, produced by Tim Ritter (Truth
or Dare?) and stars Joel D. Wynkoop (Dirty
Cop No Donut).
