Palm Beach County Opens International Commerce Doors with a Proposed Television Network The World Trade Centers Association General Assembly
(WTCA) and the Committee for Business, Tourism and Cultural Exchange officially approved a resolution for a global culture and commerce television network. The resolution was the result of presentations given by Al
Zucaro, World Trade Center Palm Beach (WTCPB), Jim Ring, Senior Vice President, Morgan Keegan, and Film Commissioner, Chuck
Elderd.
This innovative, global television network will be based out of Palm Beach County and will incorporate the ideas already proving successful in the local television community. Palm Beach County has developed one of the strongest and largest foundations of corporate sponsored, syndicated television. Drawing on this experience, the delegation made presentations to the
WTCA, introducing the benefits, both economic and social, of establishing this network.
The network will tell the stories of international leaders of industry, exploring the affect of culture on business. The
WTCA, an international organization, views the exchange of culture and commerce as a road to global unity. Founded thirty years ago on the theory that opening doors of talk and trade between nations would speed up globalization, the WTCA embraced an international television network dedicated to the exchange of culture and commerce.
