Old House, will be spending the winter in
West Palm Beach this year. The popular PBS series
has chosen a Flamingo Park house because “the
growth and re-development of the West Palm Beach
area lends itself beautifully to the format of our
show,” says production coordinator Hillary
Finkel. In
fact the revitalization of the downtown West Palm
Beach area captured the attention of the show’s
producers. Shooting is scheduled from December
2000 to March 2001 and the community is excited. This
Old House, will be following the home
improvements of the Flamingo Park house, as well
as spotlighting local attractions and events.
“This Old House tells the story of a house in a
community. Not only do we show the construction,
but we incorporate the home’s environment into
the show,” says Executive Producer Bruce Irving. |
